FAQs

What should I wear?

What should I wear? Wear comfortable clothing. You only need to remove your shoes and socks for the session. If you are comfortable with me doing so I may massage your calf muscles but I will mainly concentrate on your feet.

Will it hurt?

Reflexology should never be painful. Some areas of the foot may feel tender or sensitive the first time you have reflexology. They usually relate to parts of the body that are out of balance. I always work within your comfort level and can adjust the pressure if needed.

What if I'm insecure about my feet?

It’s completely normal to feel a little self-conscious about your feet – many people do! Reflexology is a respectful and professional therapy aimed at improving wellbeing, not appearance. I have treated many people and have held all kinds of feet. Rest assured you don’t need to feel anxious about showing me yours.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions needed varies from person to person. Some people feel noticeable benefits after just one or two treatments, especially when reflexology is used for relaxation or mild stress relief. For more ongoing or chronic concerns – such as sleep issues, tension or hormonal imbalances – a course of 4 to 6 weekly sessions is often recommended to allow the body time to respond and rebalance. After that, many clients choose to move to monthly maintenance session to support their overall wellbeing.  Of course, the pace and frequency of treatments is entirely up to you. We’ll discuss your needs at your first session and adjust the plan as we go.
